He has infinite attention to spare for each one of us. He does not have to deal with us in the mass. You are as much alone with Him as if you were the only being He had ever created.
— C S Lewis, Mere Christianity
Why We Believe in Prayer
At Liberty Church London, we believe prayer changes everything. Prayer is not just a ritual, but a living conversation with God that shapes our lives, strengthens our faith, and aligns us with His will. The Bible tells us that God hears the cries of His people, and we hold fast to the promise that when we pray, He listens, responds, and moves in power. Whether in moments of joy, struggle, or need, prayer anchors us in God’s presence and reminds us that we are never alone.
How You Can Engage in Prayer at Liberty
Weekday Morning Prayer (Zoom, 6:45–7am):
Every weekday morning we gather online to start the day with God. From 6:45–7am we pray together on Zoom with cameras off, creating a simple and focused space to lift up our city, church, and one another. It’s a powerful way to start your day rooted in God’s presence.

Prayer Requests on Sundays:
Each Sunday you have the opportunity to share prayer requests during our service. These requests are brought before the whole church community in prayer, because we believe that when God’s people pray together, His power is revealed.
Prayer Team Ministry:
Most Sundays after the sermon, our trained prayer team is available at the back of the hall. This is a safe space where you can receive prayer for anything on your heart — whether healing, encouragement, or breakthrough. Our team would love to stand with you in faith.
